Nutqa Privacy

Privacy Policy

How Nutqa collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the platform.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Nutqa collects, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices available to you. It applies to all users of Nutqa.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password credentials managed through our authentication provider. If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name and email only to create and access your Nutqa account.

عند تسجيل الدخول عبر Google، نستلم اسم حسابك وبريدك الإلكتروني فقط لإنشاء حسابك في Nutqa وتسجيل دخولك. لا نستخدم بيانات حساب Google للإعلانات.

  • Voice recordings and transcripts: audio recordings of your spoken answers to speaking assignments and the text transcriptions generated from those recordings.
  • Usage and progress data: assignment scores, attempt history, streaks, and certificate progress.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor and merchant of record (Paddle.com). Nutqa does not directly collect or store your payment card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to transcribe and analyze your spoken answers, generate AI-based feedback reports, track your progress and calculate certificate eligibility, provide customer support, process subscription payments, communicate service-related updates, and measure and improve advertising performance (including attributing visits and conversions from ads you interact with).

4. Third-party service providers

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate Nutqa. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually and/or technically restricted to using it only to provide their respective services to Nutqa.

  • A cloud database and authentication provider, used to securely store your account information, progress data, and application data.
  • A speech-to-text transcription provider, used to convert your voice recordings into text for analysis.
  • An AI language analysis provider, used to evaluate your spoken answers and generate feedback reports.
  • A payment processor and merchant of record (Paddle.com Market Ltd), used to securely handle subscription billing. Nutqa does not directly collect or store your payment card details.
  • A cloud hosting provider, used to run and serve the Nutqa application.
  • An advertising and measurement platform (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), used to measure ad performance and conversion events such as sign-ups and purchases. Hashed identifiers and technical data may be sent to improve event match quality.
  • A behavioral analytics provider (Microsoft Clarity), used to generate session recordings and heatmaps so we can understand how visitors use Nutqa and improve the product. Any account identifier sent to Clarity is hashed before it leaves your browser.

5. Data retention

We currently retain your voice recordings and transcripts for as long as your account remains active, so you can review your history and replay past attempts. We are working toward a policy of retaining only your most recent or best-scoring recordings per assignment over time; this Privacy Policy will be updated if and when that retention practice changes. You may request deletion of your recordings at any time by contacting support@nutqa.com.

6. Children's privacy

Nutqa is intended for users aged 13 and older. We rely on self-attestation rather than active age verification at registration.

If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian is expected to be aware of and support your use of the service, including voice recording and AI-based analysis.

Parents or guardians with concerns about a minor's data may contact support@nutqa.com to request account review or deletion.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@nutqa.com. We will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Cookies

Nutqa uses essential cookies required for login and session functionality. We also use advertising and measurement technologies from Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) to understand how visitors find Nutqa (including from Instagram and Facebook ads), measure sign-ups and purchases, and improve ad delivery. These tools may set or read cookies or similar identifiers (such as browser and click IDs) and may receive technical data such as IP address and browser type, together with hashed account identifiers when you are signed in.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool that records anonymized session replays and heatmaps of how visitors navigate and interact with Nutqa, so we can find usability problems and improve the product. Clarity may set its own first-party cookie to recognize repeat visits.

Paddle may set essential payment or fraud-prevention cookies when you open checkout. We do not currently use a separate marketing-consent banner for Meta or Clarity measurement on our primary audience; we will expand consent controls if we add additional non-essential analytics products or if applicable law requires it. You can also use browser controls to block third-party cookies, which may limit ad measurement and analytics accuracy.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to help protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International data transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including by the third-party service providers listed above, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
