Terms of Service

The rules for using Nutqa — eligibility, accounts, billing, voice recordings, and what our AI feedback does and does not mean.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or using Nutqa, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Nutqa is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. By creating an account and using Nutqa, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and supports your use of the service, including the recording and AI-based analysis of your voice. Nutqa does not currently verify user age at registration and relies on this representation.

2. Service description

Nutqa is an AI-powered platform that helps Arabic-speaking students practice spoken English. You complete structured speaking assignments across five CEFR levels (A1–C1) and receive AI-generated feedback reports on your responses.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Each person may maintain only one Nutqa account.

4. Subscriptions, trial & billing

New users may try Nutqa with five free graded speaking assignments. No payment card is required for the free trial.

After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Plans may be billed monthly or annually. Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as our merchant of record and processes all payments. Statement and invoice charges may appear as Paddle.com rather than Nutqa.

Refund and cancellation terms are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Voice recordings & user content

When you practice, Nutqa records your spoken answers so we can transcribe them and run AI-based language analysis. Recordings and transcripts are processed by third-party AI service providers (speech-to-text and language model providers) for this purpose.

For full details on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the service for abusive or harassing speech;
  • attempt to circumvent trial or usage limits;
  • automate or script interactions with the service; or
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

Nutqa owns the platform, curriculum, assignments, and underlying technology. You retain rights to your own spoken content, but you grant Nutqa a license to process, store, and analyze that content — including through third-party AI providers — so we can provide the service.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

Scores, transcriptions, corrections, and feedback are produced by automated AI systems and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are not a substitute for professional language instruction, tutoring, or formal language proficiency certification.

9. Certificates disclaimer

In-app level certificates are Nutqa's own internal achievement recognitions. They show progress within the platform. They are not accredited, formal CEFR certifications and are not issued by, endorsed by, or equivalent to any official language testing or accreditation body.

10. Termination

Nutqa may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including Acceptable Use rules or abuse of the trial system.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or the Paddle customer portal.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutqa's liability is limited, and Nutqa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to these terms

Nutqa may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. We will communicate material changes by email or in-app notice.
